Networks- Enabling Wireshark to Read CCIEF Basic / TSN / SLMP packages

This articles shortly describe what files and setup you need to be able to visualize CCLIEFB/TSN/SLMP packages of the communication with WireShark pogram.

First download and install WireShark software. Portable version also exist of the software. https://www.wireshark.org/

1. Add attached Lua files of the WireShark plugins folder

      C:\Program Files\Wireshark\plugins\4.2

      (Default installation folder)

      

      These 3 files cclin_ief_basic_ws_plugin_en, CCLinkIE_TSN_Rev01, SLMP_Com_Rev01 contains the settings for wireshark to show the correct way the information of the communications.

2. Reload plugins in Wireshark if it the captured packages still show as UDP communication

      

3. Test 

      CCLIEF basic com FX5 (192.168.3.250) and MR-JET 2pc servo amps (192.168.3.1-192.168.3.2).

      

If you don't want to visualize the upper protocols you can switch it off or on when you want. Just go into the Analyze\ Enabled Protocols.. menu point. Search for the protocol then untick them.
