GOT2000 “Failed to write the recipe” or “Failed to read the recipe” Troubleshooting

GOT2000 “Failed to write the recipe” or “Failed to read the recipe” Troubleshooting

Reason 1
No connection with PLC during loading or saving recipe
Solution: check and resume the connection

Reason 2
Wrong system file on SD Card or USB drive used or capacity not supported.
Solution: check and set FAT32 system file. Max supported size is 32 GB.

Reason 3
Changes made in already defined Recipe Definition

If Devices, Records or other esential elements were changed in existed Recipe Definition (picture below) then the previously made recipe files are incompatible and cannot be operated.

Recipe file’s information structure is made according to recipe definition:

Solution 3.1  (if changes are not needed)
Discard all changes in Recipe Definition. The old files will be working again.

Solution 3.2  (if changes are needed, old files can be lost)
Remove all recipe files from GOT’s memory, load the project and define all recipes from the beginning

Solution 3.3  (if changes are needed, existing recipe files must be kept):
Open and correct recipe files to match them to the new settings made in Recipe Definition

This is possible only if they are in Unicode Text or CSV file format (see picture below)
