Iconics Suite - Required Authorization for DataPoints Operations


Summary: This document describe how to provide functionality of authorization for datachange by Modifier and Verfier 
Available in Iconics version 10.97.3

In this example steps are as follow
Create Equipment Property in Assets 
General Setting Security - providing Authorization for the Property 
Create Users who will have provileges to Modify/Verify change of this Property Value

Create Equipment Property in Assets 

In Asset Tree - Equipment, create any Equipment Property


General Setting Security - providing Authorization for the Property 


In Security - Global Setting go to Authorization tab and enter DataPoint name that require authorization 
You can select if Performer or Provider is necessary to change this value



Create Users who will have provileges to Perform/Verify change of this Property Value 


In Security - User, we create Operator Account. This user has proviliges to Perform changes on ac:AuthorizedLabel



In Security - User, we create Admin Account. This user has proviliges to Perform and Verify changes on ac:AuthorizedLabel

Create display with DataPoint that is configured as requiring authorization 
Configure this process point to be Data Entry:



In runtime, when you try to change value of Process Point, you will see this form, that need to be filled:
If provileges are fine, click okey and new value is write info DataPoint 



If we want to Verify operation by the user Operator it is not possible, because they only have acces to Perform Value change, not ot verify



You will see message like this in this case:
