iQ-F Simple CPU Communication with Siemens S7-1200

This video shows how to communicate Mitsubishi iQ-F controller with Siemens S7-1200 using Simple CPU Communication function.

TIA Portal Configuration for PUT/GET  Communication

To enable proper communication between an S7 PLC and our PLC using PUT/GET mechanisms, follow these steps in TIA Portal:

1. Settings for PUT/GET Communication

• Open Properties of the CPU.
• Navigate to Protection & Security → Connection mechanisms and check:
  • Permit access with PUT/GET communication from remote partner
    (allows data access via PUT/GET from external devices)

2. Settings for Data Blocks (DB) – OPC UA

• Open the properties of the selected Data Block (DB).
• In the Attributes tab change:
  
• disable Optimized block access

Note:

Safety data blocks cannot be accessed via Simple CPU communication. In such case. the last option is enforced to be checked.
