Profil modułu RJ71EIP91 jest automatycznie rejestrowany do GX Worksa 3 automatycznie po instalacji konfiguratora Ethernet/IP

Dodawanie pliku EDS





Wybrać plik EDS. Plik EDS couplera NZ2FT-EIP znajduje się w folderze instalacyjnym Ethernet/IP Configuration Tool for RJ71EIP91



Dodawanie urządzenia do konfiguracji

Plik przeciągnąć z Device Library i upuścić w oknie konfiguracji, następnie wprowadzić adres IP



Druga metoda, to odczytanie konfiguracji online

3) Konfiguracja NZ2FT-EIP przez Web Server

Otworzyć przeglądarkę z uprawnieniami administratora, połączyć się przewodem USB z modułem. W pole wyszukiwania wpisać numer IP portu USB - domyślnie 192.168.5.202.
Zmienić IP configuration na Static, wprowadzić IP.
Zatwierdzić zmiany



Do zatwierdzenia zmian konieczne jest wpisanie hasła. Hasło domyślne:



4) Projekt w GX Works 3


Moduł obsługuje rodzaje komunikacji Explicit (bez otwierania połączenia Class 1) i Implicit (z otworzeniem połączenia UCMM)



Do realizacji komunikacji cyklicznej (Implicit) można wykorzystać wbudowane bloczki w GX Works 3.
Poniżej bloki użyte w programie (przykład w załączniku Class1_project)



W celu skomunikowania się bez otwierania połączenia UCMM należy podać numer klasy, instancji i atrybutu, który chcemy  odczytać/nadpisać i wystawić request 
Wybór operacji określa service code (przykład w załączniku UCMM_project)





Komunikację UCMM można wyzwolić także z konfiguratora EIP z zakładki Network - Online action
