Servo - One-Touch Tuning

Servo - One-Touch Tuning

The article describes the correct parameterisation of the Servo Amplifier in order to perform the One-Touch Tuning procedure.
The most common error C004 relates to insufficient speed during tuning - it is not possible to perform the tuning.

1. MR Configurator2 parameterisation

1.1 User comand method

Go to Test Mode-> Positioning Mode tab and set the following parameters:
- Motor Speed: 500 r/min, at least 200 r/min
- Acceleration less than 500 ms
- Check Make the repeated operation valid
- Dwell time: 0.5 s - 0.2 s
- Check Make the aging function valid

If you have not deactivated the limit switch in the parameterisation of the servo amplifier - mark Limit switch automatic ON

Clicking on Forward CCW or Reverse CW will cause the drive to move. Make sure it is safe to do so!

The servo has to work in such a cycle for this method- accelerate, drive into position and stop to move to part 2.

1.2. Amplifier command method

The method requires the following option to be selected. It is necessary to specify the maximum shaft travel distance, the unit of which is the encoder pulses per revolution. Checking Limit switch also depends on whether it has been defined in the parameterisation of the servo amplifier.

Shaft movement during tuning will be Clockwise (CW) and Counterclockwise (CCW) by the specified value, which depends on the servo amplifier model. For example, MR-JET is 2^22 pulse/rotation while MR-JE-C is 2^17 pulse/rotation.

2. Start One-Touch Tuning

It remains to select the shaft stiffness required for the application. The choice is made by selecting the appropriate degree in Response Mode in the One-Touch Tuning window.

Depending on the option selected above to carry out the autotuning, the procedure will start when the Start button is pressed.

We will receive a message that the tuning has been carried out correctly and whether to overwrite the parameters after the procedure to the servo amplifier, which we can view by selecting Yes and then Upgrade.
