Connection between GOT 2000 and GT Designer3 (PC) over RCPU with RJ71EN

1. PC -> RCPU -> RJ71EN -> GOT

In this case PC will be connected to built-in ethernet port on RCPU and GOT will be connected to RJ71EN.

RCPU: 192.168.3.39 Network No. 2 Station No. 1

RJ71EN: 192.168.3.40 Network No. 1 Station No. 1

 

Routing: Network No. 2 Station No. 1 -> Network No. 1 

1.1 Network configuration

Firstly you need to configure ethernet built-in port and module. You need to set:
  1. Two different IP adresses
  2. Enable communications by Network No./Station No.
  3. Set Network No./Station No.
  4. Add MELSOFT connections
So for built-in port:


And for ethernet module:


1.2 Routing configuration

Giving that PC is connected to Network No. 2 we will be routing this network to Network No. 1 (network with GOT):


1.3 Driver configuration

In driver configuration you need to put network number of module that GOT is connected to:

2. PC -> RJ71EN -> RCPU-> GOT

In this case PC will be connected to RJ71EN and GOT to built-in ethernet port of RCPU

RCPU: 192.168.3.39 Network No. 2 Station No. 1

RJ71EN: 192.168.3.40 Network No. 1 Station No. 1

 

Routing: Network No.1 Station No. 1 -> Network No.2
